Became a friend of the Swedish National Association for Handicraft and established the Swedish Textile Institute. In the same year, held an exhibition at the Ginza Matsuya department store. Subsequently opened Yamanashi Hemslöjd shops at the Swedish Centre in Roppongi and at Shibuya Tokyu Main Store.
1976
We have become the sole agent in Japan for the Danish Handcraft Guild.
1978
Opened the Yamanashi Hemslöjd Building as an atelier in Meguro Kakinokizaka.
1983
A solo exhibition by Mikiko Yamanashi was held at Ginza Wako, and the "Swedish Traditional Crafts Exhibition" was held at Tamagawa Takashimaya S.C. and other venues.
1984
The 'British Royal School Traditional Embroidery Exhibition' will be held at Tamagawa Takashimaya S.C. We will be the Japanese representative for the British Royal School.
1986

'300 Years of European Embroidery' exhibition to be held at Shibuya Tokyu Main Store and Hankyu Umeda, Osaka.

The 'Danish Flower Embroidery Exhibition' will be held at Shibuya Tokyu Main Store and Kobe Hankyu Museum.

A 'Garden Embroidery Exhibition' will be held at Shibuya Tokyu Main Store.

The "Gerda Bengtsson Retrospective" exhibition is being held at the Copenhagen City Hall's Great Hall.
2001
Shibuya Tokyu Department Store Main Store will simultaneously host the "Danish Wildflower Embroidery Exhibition" and the "Georg Jensen Exhibition."
Ms. Lise Lind Jensen, President of the Danish Handcraft Guild, visits Japan. The "Danish Wildflower Embroidery Exhibition" is held at the Kagoshima City Museum of Art, and the "Gerda Bengtsson Retrospective" is held at Okayama Takashimaya. She established the HF Gallery in Copenhagen as a base for exhibitions and cultural exchange showcasing the tradition of Danish embroidery.
2002
"Nordic Crafts Handbook" Publication Commemorative Exhibition at Shibuya Tokyu Main Store
"Mikiko Yamanashi Embroidery and Weaving Lifestyle Exhibition" is being held.
2003
The Shibuya Tokyu Main Store is hosting "A World of Danish Embroidery". Eleven embroidery works by Her Majesty Queen Margrethe II will be exhibited.
2004
Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi Main Store opens 'Mikiko Yamanashi's Craft Gallery'. Holds a commemorative exhibition for the publication of "Hand-woven on a Wooden Loom". Holds a commemorative exhibition for the publication of "Iro Iro Border" at Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi Main Store and Yokohama Takashimaya. Ms. Vibeke Orlys visits Japan.
2006

The 'Ultimate Embroidery Exhibition' is being held at Shibuya Tokyu Department Store Main Branch. Ms. Heidi Jenkins will visit Japan.
A celebratory exhibition for the publication of "Ingrid Plum's Danish Cross Stitch" is being held at Shibuya Tokyu Department Store Main Branch.
The YHI Gallery is hosting the exhibition "Muni Srivastava: Spirit and Life".

The Shibuya Tokyu Honten will host the "100th Anniversary Exhibition of the National Swedish Society of Handicraft" and the "Exhibition to Commemorate the Acquisition of Danish Guild Cross Stitch Skills."
Participated in the "National Swedish Handicraft Association 100th Anniversary Exhibition" (Liljevalchs, Stockholm Exhibition Hall). Concurrently, organised a tour from Japan, participating in demonstrations and workshops.

A special exhibition celebrating the publication of "A Flower Encyclopedia Drawn in Cross-Stitch: Danish Embroidery by Gerda Bengtsson" will be held at Shibuya Tokyu Main Store.
2014
The NPO Nordic Traditional Handicraft Association Yamanashi Hemslojd has been established, branching off from YHI Limited Company. Its aims are to preserve traditional techniques and promote international cultural exchange.
