Various Classes: Content and Dates

Embroidery

  • Counted work (canvas work, cross stitch)
  • Whitework (pulled thread, needleweaving, cutwork, etc.)
  • Freestyle embroidery (free embroidery using wool, linen, embroidery floss, etc.)
  • Traditional Japanese embroidery (Sashiko in the style of Rei Saito, Kogin, etc.)
  • Bobbin lace (using Swedish linen thread. Using patterns from the Swedish Lace Association)

Swedish weaving

  • Using wooden frames… Flemish weaving and other Swedish weaves (12 techniques)
    Uses... (Interior accessories, placemats, cushions, bags)
  • Large classroom(At the Denenchofu Studio) Using a loom (tapestry 100cm). Swedish traditional techniques (Rosenngon, Drell, Munkȧbelte, etc.)
    Uses... curtains, clothing, carpets, tapestries, etc.

Hand-knitted

Hand knitting using knitting needles (straight needles, crochet hooks, circular needles) and traditional Nordic knitting techniques such as needle binding.


From beginner to advanced, we offer level-up guidance.

In this course, you'll master advanced embroidery, weaving, and knitting techniques. Beyond the methods themselves, you'll also learn about the history and culture of Nordic crafts, allowing you to enjoy the profound charm of handmade work that is woven into daily life.

  1. Monthly course - ¥26,400 (including tax, for 3 months)
  2. Twice-monthly course ¥49,500 (including tax, for 3 months)
  3. Free ticket ¥41,250 (pack of 5, valid for 6 months)
  4. Trial course: ¥8,800 (includes tax, available for first-time attendees only)
