Haandarbejdets Fremme
Danish Handcraft Guild Products
All kits are available to order. If you are looking for something from a previously published catalogue or similar that is not listed on our online store, please feel free to contact us.
You can use the official website of the new workshop, launched in 2026, as a catalogue: https://houseofneedlework.com
For prices, please enquire at the yamanashi and hemslöjd Omotesando branches.
There are over 3,000 different danish handcraft guild kits, and our workshop in Japan is currently working flat out to organise product images and accurate information. Consequently, there are many product codes for which no images have yet been uploaded, but you may still place orders for items where no image is displayed. Whilst this process will take some time due to the sheer volume of items, we believe the website will eventually become a wonderfully comprehensive resource, and we would appreciate your understanding.
Furthermore, regarding the new printed catalogue, for which we have received numerous requests, preparations are currently under way for its publication in collaboration with our company to mark the 100th anniversary of danish handcraft guild.
YHI Original Kits
White Thread Embroidery
Elegant white thread embroidery. White thread embroidery, stitched with white linen thread on white linen fabric, is needle lace that was popular in Europe in the 19th and early 20th centuries. We've created kits with carefully selected motifs, including the whitework embroidery techniques of Dronningholm, Hardanger, Hedebo, and Næbbelsohm, which were passed down in Scandinavia.
To all members of the Yamanashi Hemslöjd Friends' Association
